Turning Tides

An inside look

Back in October of last year, Rachel Moore and I were scuba diving off the coast of Mo'orea in French Polynesia when we discovered an alarming number of crown of thorns emerging from the depths, eating the reef.

That discovery inspired us to spend the next year creating this film. Too often we think of nature as being separate from ourselves. We forget that every change, every action, whether positive or negative, has repercussions. We need to learn from these scientists because their knowledge applies on a global scale. We need to work together to help to ensure that our only planet thrives for future generations and all species.
